RCPYC Summer Race Series 3 Saturday 24 July 2010 |
Two races to count. The RCPYC use a club handicap system based upon the Byron Org rating system. Boats sailing without spinnakers may at the discretion of the Race committee be awarded an additional 10 point allowance.
Briefing will be at the the Tidal Basin clock on Saturday 0945

Start 1100 hours from the club start line 1 mast from the Eastern Arm, distance approx 200 metres.
A club boat will mark the end of the line.
The start sequence for both races as follows:
1050 -6 minute warning sound signal from committee boat repeated on the Radio channel 72
1055 -4 minute warning sound signal from committee boat repeated on the radio (engines off)
1059 -1 minute signal
1100 Go
One of the courses contained within the Race pack will be selected on the day and advised at the briefing.
Finish line will use the Eastern or Western start lines which have the same configuration as the start line, or the Monument (bearing to be advised) or South Foreland light (bearing to be advised)
Race control on committee boat communications will be on Channel 72
Race Officer TBA.
