The clubhouse itself commands a fine view of the busy harbour, ferry port and cruise terminal, and all visiting yacht owners and their friends are welcome as honorary members, and are invited to to avail themselves of the amenities of the club during their stay in Dover.

The Club Bar is comfortably appointed and staffed during lunch time and evening opening (see below), with a good range of beers and wines. For the discerning beer drinker, there are always several real ales available, including the excellent RCPYC Bitter. Food is available at lunch times, including baguettes, steaks, Indian and Chinese cuisine imported from local suppliers, and (of course) fish and chips!
The Dining Room is used for Club functions, and can also be booked by non-members for private functions. The facilities include Lecture Room and Meetings Room, and a pool table.

Showers and toilets are of course available for visiting yachtsmen after signing in.

Bar opening hours: Monday to Saturday 1200-1500 and 1800-2300, Sunday 1200-1700
